Manchester United 3 - Manchester City 2 : F.A Community Shield goes to United

The barclays premier league season always has a tradition. The top two teams go for a charity match made by the F.A community called the Community Shield. Manchester United were to face Manchester City who seemed to be strong and prepared due to the big names they were purchasing chose as Sergio Aguero,

United simply owned the match yet had some defense trouble during the first half. Manchester City were able to score 2 goals during the first half. David Gea who is strong, yet under pressure since alot is asked from him, failed during the first half, yet was able to make it and prove himself after all. The second half was very dramatic and simply amazing for United. Sir Alex made a drastic switch by taking off the 2 main defenders ( Vidic and Ferdinand) and replacing them by Jones and Evans. Jones made his appearance alongside with Ashley Young and David Gea as United's new players. Tom Cleverly came in for Michael Carrick and put on a good match. Chris Smalling opened the match for United during the 52nd minute and in only 6 minutes, the equalizer was wonderfully put by Louis Nani. Wayne Rooney had some great free-kicks, and so did Nani. Since this game is a charity match, each team has the amount of 6 substitutes. Rafael joined the match later on for Evra and got to hold the captain badge. During the last 15 minutes of the match where everything seemed great for United due to the attacks they were having, and when everyone though that the match is going to penalties, Nani simply did it !

In the third minute of the 90th and in extra time, Nani made a jump on Kolarov clearance and got the deflection to his side. Nani made a run from center field to Heart's goal and beautifully got passed him and finally scoring the winning goal for United. The match was over and United were crowned their 19th F.A Community Shield title.

The season is off, and its looking good for United hopefully.
